Community Mapping
Community Mapping is defined as the “act of involving residents in identifying the assets of their neighborhood, looking at opportunities and creating a picture of what it is like to live there. It can foster a sense of environmental and community responsibility in local residents.”

Below are a few projects that I participated in as a Rutgers University student, later alumni in conjunction with students from the university as well as Franklin High School as part of a program known as IMSOCIO. IMSOCIO is an organization working with high school students to help them achieve success before, during, and after college.
