About Me:
Hello! My name is Amna W. Khan and I am a designer, urban planner, and researcher. I received my Masters of Architecture I from Massachusetts College of Art and Design & Bachelors of Science in Environmental Planning and Design with a certificate of Urban Planning from Rutgers University. At present, I enjoy developing, researching and designing inclusive, accessible and engaging spaces through civic engagement and dialogue.
As a designer I strive to constantly learn about the ever changing design landscape. My interests include architecture and the built environment, urban design, civic engagement, community design, place-making as well as visual communication and story telling through graphic design.
My design philosophy extends beyond the technical aspects of the field. We are at another inflection point in the world and the needs in design are a direct reflection of those we are designing for.
As a member of the design community I strive to provide equitable and creative solutions while constantly reminding myself and learning that design evolves constantly and that it is my job to keep up, ask questions and constantly practice by trial and error.
Cheers, Ciao, Goodbye, Khudafiz & Talk Soon
