Mobile Trauma Unit

Mayors’ Office of Criminal Justice (Freelance): November 2020- January 2021
The Mobile Trauma Unit developed by the Office to Prevent Gun Violence is focused on synchronizing the city’s anti-gun violence initiatives while amplifying community based intervention/ prevention services. The Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice has launched Mobile Trauma Units in each borough and it is an innovative approach to violence and trauma reduction design to reach larger target areas and a wider audience. My role in this project was as a designer between November 2020- January 2021. I developed a map depicting the routes that the MTU would take around Brownsville, Brooklyn as well as developed conceptual ideas and visualizations of the activities or events that would take place in or around the van.
